Prep Programme

Starting Prep is a significant milestone in your child’s educational journey. At Mancel College, we specialise in providing a nurturing and supportive environment tailored to the unique needs of children with Language Disorder.

Our Prep programme is designed to foster growth in communication, social skills, emotional development, and foundational academics. With small class sizes, each supported by a dedicated teacher and school assistant, we ensure personalised attention for every student. Our holistic approach integrates speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and music therapy into daily learning, promoting a well-rounded development.

We understand that as parents, you are your child’s first and most important teachers. Your involvement is crucial, and we value the partnership between home and school in supporting your child’s growth.

Junior School

The Junior School at Mancel College provides a specialised learning environment for students from Year 1 to Year 6 who have Language Disorder. Our program focuses on building essential communication skills, academic foundations, and social-emotional growth within a supportive and nurturing setting.

With small classes and a high adult-to-student ratio, each child receives personalised support from experienced teachers, allied health professionals, and school assistants. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and music therapy are seamlessly integrated into the daily curriculum to support every aspect of development.

We believe that early and consistent intervention is key to helping students build confidence, independence, and a love for learning. Our classrooms are designed to be calm, engaging, and inclusive, encouraging students to explore, communicate, and connect with their peers.

Parents are valued partners in this journey. We work closely with families to ensure a collaborative and transparent approach to each child’s education and wellbeing.
